Allergic reaction to the mold?

Just curious if this has ever happened to anyone before.   I went in for my CT simulation today, and apparently had an allergic skin reaction to the fabric covering the body mold.  I'll be doing rads in the prone position, so the worst of the reaction was on the side of my face - bright red!   I had to stay at the center for a while to have my vitals monitored just in case, but it started to fade quickly and now that I've taken a Benadryl (per doctor's orders) is almost entirely gone.    They were all quite shocked and said they'd never seen anything like this, so it got me wondering just how much of a medical freak I really am!  Anyone else experience this?

By the way, they said in the future, my mold will be covered in a layer of plastic wrap and then a sheet so that I won't have to come into contact with it again.
