Acid - alkaline balance

Options

Recently had a blood test and my uric acid is above the normal top range - does this mean my body is acidic? I only have one kidney and have had higher than normal uric acid levels for a few years...........

PH is 6.0 when normal range is 5.0 to 7.5

I'm not sure if it means that or not. The only think I know about uric acid is that you can get gout if its too high. You can get ph strips to test urine. Do you have a food chart that tells which foods are acid/alkaline? If you're concerned I would drink alkaline water and try to eat things that can bring up the alkaline. I drink hot water with lemon juice every night to try and stay on the alkaline side, plus eat a lot of celery. The lemon water is like a mini liver cleanse and is good for digestion. I don't know what if any effect it will have on the kidney though. If you do a google search there's lots of food charts available that you can just print off for a reference. You prob know that but just in case. Oh, and about the alkaline water, its kind of pricey so I got some Alkazone drops from Amazon and just use the drops in my regular cheap kmart purified water to make it alkaline.
