Itchy mole one remaining breast

I am sure this is growing and getting more itchy, its like a normal mole, smooth, and round so no irregular edges....but I am also getting odd pains in this breast too, ILC recurrence worries me especially as had atypical hyperplasia in that breast but MRI 10 months ago did not show cancer just lots of atypical hiperplasia stuff so surgeon and onc here will not do anything about it....

Anyone got any advice?  Is this common with ILC? Could it be another kind of cancer as its near to the place where breast joins ribs?

Lily, I don't know much about ILC, but if you have a mole that concerns you the best thing to do would be to see a dermatologist.

    Best of luck.

I would insist on getting it checked. Better to be safe than sorry.

Sometimes things are sneaky and don't show up how docs expect them too. If it worrys you, that is good enough. Removal and testing will either confirm or set your mind at rest.

when in doubt, check it out.  A mole does not reflect breast cancer but it is upsetting you.

Why spend precious days, weeks, months worrying what it might be.  Save yourself the aggrevation and go have it looked at.  Ask for an MRI if you are concerned about your breast (don't they do them every 6 months now? One of the reasons I had the bx mastectomy!)...and once you have an answer, you can enjoy the days ahead.

I had to have a colonoscopy and was SURE my cancer had spread and I would be told at worst it was cancer or at best, polyps....rather than dwell on it, I just scheduled the colonoscopy.  Nothing...not even a tag of any kind.  Saved myself MONTHS of worry!

I asked for an MRI and they refused, say I must have a mammo first which is stupid as I had one only a couple of months before I was diagnosed as stage 3 last year and it was clear....!!!! Lobular does not show up on a mammo.......

I cannot schedule things as I am dependent on an oncolgoist i do not trust (and cannot change) as not in the USA and don´t have any private health

Can you see a derm and explain your concerns?  Maybe they can escalate or reassure ....
