Can lymphedema cause a sore or stiff neck?

I had a lot of nodes removed just about a year ago. 26 removed. And I finished extensive rads in end of June. I am now having lymphedema -- mild I guess -- but for the past couple of months I've really had a stiff sore neck. The pain is throbbing and acute, but sometimes it's on the left side of my neck, sometimes on the right, sometimes on both sides at the same time, and sometimes more in the back. It feels like muscle spasms or sore ligaments, and changes with head movement. My mx side shoulder is also killing me but only when I lie on it or try to stretch it. I've lost range of motion in recent months.

I'm scare it might be mets but the fact that it moves from one side of the neck to the other makes me wonder if it's related to either LE or the after effects of rads. The radiation onc. told me things can really tighten up due to scare tissue after rads is over.

Any thoughts?

Also if anyone knows of a good LE therapist in the Boston area, please PM me. Thanks!
