Just waiting for appt with oncologist on Jan 2.
Was completely blindsided with this. Just moved 3000 miles in Sept.....2wks later found a lump. Dr.told me about 1yr ago twas my rib!!!! So in for mammo and ultrasound Oct 1st and radiologist told me it was not good news. Then in for core needle biopsy Oct 18th...IDC...Lumpectomy and SND Nov 19th IDC Stage 1 1.5 cm. ER 100%+ PR 90+ HER -
Guess radiation is for sure.....getting nervous re: possible chemo and the AI's
Breezed thru the surgery....amazed myself !!and has healed very well
Am single woman(was adopted so, again no history) with no real family and hate to burden friends with all this after just moving back. So, finding this site is a godsend Thank You All for sharing.I am learning lots.
