Long term stats

Hi does anyone have any info on  'early stage'  LONG term stats beyond SEER?  ER positive bc can recur up to 20 years after, though the risk I understand decreases say from year 15 on (peaking, I understand, btwn 7 -14). Few studies go beyond 5 or 10 years....SEER Stats seem mixed up in lots of other correlating variables that we don't know about...

Seems to me that the 5 year (and even10 year data) re estrogen positive disease is very limited in terms of meaning since many bc's that are E+ recur after 10 years. Looking for info, haven't found it. Anyone?

KSD - I haven't done research on this, but I think one reason there may not be long-term studies about ER+ survival is that routine testing for ER status was not done until just a few years ago.  Therefore, there are few if any women whose ER status was known 20 years ago, so they can't be tracked like that.  Also, remember that any 20 year studies tracked women who underwent treatment as it existed 20 years ago. Treatments for b/c have changed so much that studies on women who were treated 20 years ago using 20 year old protocols have limited relevance for women who are undergoing treatment today using current protocols.
