"cellular" fibroadenoma removal?

Hello all,

Not sure where to post this, but here goes....

I'm in my mid 20s and just got a call from my radiologist saying the lump they biopsied turned out to be a Cellular Fibroadenoma. I was told they want to remove it asap. I was too busy puking with relief due to the b9 results that I didn't really get to ask what the "cellular" part meant. She did mention something like if I did not remove it, it would continue to grow at a very fast rate.

I guess my questions are:

Has anyone else had what they call a "cellular" fibroadenoma? Of so, what is it?

Is there any chance there could be cancer lurking in or around it at all?

I don't go see the breast surgeon until the 7th of January, so I'm starting to get a little worried all over again. I'm grateful that this turned out to be just a fibroadenoma, but I was under the impression that unless you are in pain, the norm is to watch and wait theses things.

Any answers or similar experiences will be much appreciated :)
