on ipad so forgive typos....had no choice, death in family. So far so good. Wearing sleeveless so people don't alert air marshalls when I get up and raise my arms. Wish they could have a little private room for stretching, davening, nursing, or joining mile high club. Biggest issue I have black sleeve on and no cover and the sun is BRIGHT up here so have to keep shade closed. How much water is too much? Peace out y'all. Oh and "Biscoffs" are one lame cookie!

OH, Cookie, so sorry to hear you're dealing with a death in the family. It sounds like you are taking the flight in stride as far as your LE is concerned.  I wish the airplanes had a little room for standing and stretching, too...but then, it would be overcrowded because lots of people would probably love to be out of their seats!

You cannot drink too much water!

And...I'll bet you're a serious cookie expert...but I love Biscoff cookies!  It's the cinnamon and spices that I love.  Texture is fair-to-midlin.  And it's better than eating salty pretzels or peanuts!

Best of luck for the rest of your journey, and I hope you will surround and be surrounded by loved ones.

    Carol

Cookie, keep drinking and pumping that fist. So sorry about the loss.

For me, my arm "complains" for a day after a flight--it all depends. I find the frequency of the flights: I sit on a LE board, and will fly in and return in 48 hours for biannual meetings and that is hard, and the meetings are sedentary, the hotel is hot, and the food salty.

At the last one, a very experienced LANA PT said "You don't have LE" and then felt my arm and freaked out "You have LE!! You need to watch out for cellulitis!!!" etc, etc. Duh.

It's the two flights in two days that does me in. My LE therapist saw me when I got home, and declared me fine after a some hydration and wrapping.

Don't know those cookies, but I'll leave you two experts to debate their merits.

carol....clearly Delta,KLM, and all of Belgium or Holland agree with you. I used to fly alot, they always taste slightly burned to me, but don't hate the cookie, hate the game.

On a totally more serious note....I normally compress between 12 and 20 hours a day, I usually shrink up pretty well with a sleeve. Do I need to stay compressed around the clocks until I leave or can I resume my normal timetable tomorrow.

Boy I wish I didnt flunk wrapping and juxtafit, but I am less is more.

Here is another q, sometimes my webbing gets irritated and I just take a glove break or wear my OLD ratty medi, which is MIA. What do you guys do.

hi....It was't great for it, but it could have been worse. For some reason it is kind of bad tonight, and I fly out AM.

Cookie, the good news is that you have all your LE support system in place when you get home. Sorry about the loss.

    Home.

I wish I felt liberated or excited about having survived the flight. I just feel beat up. My arm is about equal to a really hot day with no sleeve, I guess the good news is that it is not really unprecended bad. And that is good news.

(My arm bubble is back which is a bummer, that was how I originally presented, and all those neuoprolo injections seemed to help.)

I guess I was hoping I wouldn't have a flare at all, and I could think about doing this for fun. On the other hand if I had to had to do it for work it's survivable.

I also had a little stomach bug the last three days. Plus the sweet young gal on the plane next to me who had just been through a hurricane in Fiji seemed to be coming down with the flu.

Glad to be on solid ground tho.

So tired. Back to work Tuesday. Ho ho ho....this is officially the most depressing holiday ever.
