Surgery No radiation and prescribed Tamoxifen

I was diagnosed with DCIS through a biopsy, four days later my Mother passed away. I took a week off and traveled from MN to CA. spent a week with family before returning to Mayo for more tests. Had total of three biopsies, two on left breast, one on right. One on left had cancer, stage 0, grade 1. The margins and sentenal node was clear. I have diabetes type 2, and it has been hard to heal the stitches, they are still weeping a little. Went for a two week checkup and they said it looked fine. My oncologist gave me a prescribed Tamoxifen, to be started the first of the year, because I have positive receptors.
