    kayb,

My blood glucose has been 5-15 points above the norm, but my A1C puts me in the normal range.  More doctors are looking at the A1C instead of the blood glucose level.  From what I understand it measures the average of the blood sugar over a period of time (usually 3 months).  You might ask your PCP about having it done.  I'm sure your lifestyle is helping.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Edited:  I haven't had chemo.  I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my second daughter, so have had my glucose monitored regularly.
