At 70, I have quite a few stories.... The 1st is explaining why I have only 2 kids. My daughter was born a week-and-a-half late in 1966 after 2 1/2 hours labor - she was breach & I'm thankful they didn't do a c-section. I also didn't have "gas" or any pain meds since the gas made everything stop & they wanted her delivered asap. My son was born a week early in 1969 after 20 minutes of labor - yes, I said 20 minutes. We had clocked the driving time to the hospital & it was 20 minutes. The ambulance was called & they arrived in the nick of time - I wasn't fully reclined on the stretcher before Mike was born. His nickname was Slippery Sam for quite a few years. He was also born without pain meds. Do I need to explain any further to let you know why we didn't have another???? -

Love the tank Chickie! How many more rads you got??? I am in the FINAL countdown, 10 to go!!!!!!!
Mary, wear big pockets, we are all hopping in! I call front left -
Morning Hooligans!
Mary! I used to tap dance.... and ballet, and acrobats! I LOVED dancing..... And then in High School, they had a class called "Modern Dance"..... which was like picking out a song, and choreographing your own dance to the music.... more like Ballet! And 11 a/m it is! I'll bring the Margarita's and Frito's!
During one acrobat Adagio lesson, the guys accidentally threw me up, but somehow didn't catch... me! So I did a fall-on-my-head kind of thing... Amnesia, Brain concussion, and that was the end of my dancing.
Welcome Stellina! Boy YOU got all the stupid remarks! It's stupid women just like that, that don't have a clue! I think we ALL have one as a pitiful friend. And just try and stay away from those "downer" people. You are much too way ahead of them! You will see how stupid they are, the further you get out from this... Honestly, you'll see!
Chickers..... I love the dogs! Ha, ha!
Chabba.... I think we were all in the same boat.... No money to spend during the late 40's... (most of the gals here, are much younger..ha!)
But I'm older, so I have to keep them in line...
Thank you miss Cammi! Yes.... I loved that job.... the family, employees, and the visitors made it so much fun!
Are you feeling better, or just getting by? Want to come with me this week-end to tend to the Chickens? I know.... not a chance!!!!
And miss 4444! You are a $ when capitalized! Did you know that? I gave you more 4's so you would be sure and see it! Stellina... SHE IS the newest to come across our door-step, but we let her stay because she can post the dangdest pictures! You'll see! She might even embarrass you! She CAN'T embarrass us, because we KNOW her!
Phyllidon'tknowchit! You lost a post? I ALways do... It's not us, it's these damn keys, that suddenly go awry!
Morning Teka... Yes, we ARE perfect..... aren't we? It's those OTHER people that don't have a clue!
Spookers! We had an Australian Shepherd also.... for 14 years. His name was Chevy... Didn't know how we made it without him in the house..... It IS soooooooo sad.
Hi MostlyMom! Man, having kids just scared the wits out of you! It WASN'T easy, like they all said it would be! My labor was like 24 hours! But only hard the last 6... I don't know how we DO it! Probably because we were so young!
Oh Shells.... "Exhaustipated".... good one! That must be you, with your new job and all! How is everything else?
So Hi Alyson! So good to read what y'all write! xoxoxo -

Good Morning Gooligans--I love all these morning happy pictures and HALLOWEEN ooooooo spooky I'm so skeered.
Mostlymom 2 was more than enough after that imagine if u had a third born in 4 mibutes---Yeow.
Oh Chevy I bet u can't wait til chicken time, can u sleep at night knowing how excited this gets u.
It's raining a lot--hope it stops for the kids later--well if it wasn't for Joey u know I don't care.LOL I have to do the candy thing cuz they go with Joey and the dog, most parents do here and most of them know each other now so it's good.
Oh Chevy BTW I'm doing OK aaaaa. LOL -
G
goodmorning hoolies and happy Halloween...... When we were younger we brittanies. This looked like Max, then Lady, then JB
this is why brits get so many baths,
we had 23 pups , that looked like thes wee ones, 11/12 first litter, 10/11 the 2nd litter
-
This is what my fur baby looked like, only she was cuter! At one time I had two of them in a second floor loft apartment. Downstairs neighbor wasn't so fond of them! She stuck with me through 4 miscarries and died of lymphoma right before my oldest was born. It was like she hung on long enough to know I would be ok ! Her name was Lady Alabaster because she was so sparkly white as a puppy! We just called her "Big Dog"! Yup, still miss her..... -

Camillegal & 4sewwhat: thank you for the warm welcome! It helps becoming part of the group! I'm a little good girl, you won't have much trouble with me.
Always ready to go for some fun and a good share of laughter.
As for people, well, now and then I just have to let off some steam. I think it's part of the experience and my motto since being diagnosed is "embrace the experience". But I'm just not very good with pushy people. Maybe being a little hooligan will add to the experience in the most positive of ways!
-
Hang out with us and you won't be a little good girl for long!!
I don't do pushy people either! I'm so very laid back. I know that will shock Chevy! But push too long or too far. Yes, we'll, I do have my limits!
Stick with us ghoulagans! -
Phyllopian - damn, girl, is your computer fixed? It's not natural not having you here every day.
Welcome Stellina.
Hi Goolies. I'm glad so many have fun on Halloween, but I'm just not into it. Perhaps because it was such a big deal for my son year after year, it's nice to have a break.
In your pocket Mary - I'll be thinking of you today. I'll be sleeping when you have your appt in 90 minutes so I'll hold you close in my dreams as I go back to sleep in a few minutes. Lots of love and hugs and support. -
By next week we're going to have to do a roll call to see who's who and who've each has decided to be. I'll start off then as people add the old ,the, new, and the wanna be, I'll keep adding names to this list as I see them.
"A child of many names is much loved"

Updated list, any additions or changes let me know?
I'd love to have brits again, but they are a super high energy dog that LOVES to find anything muddy to roll or lay in. They were trained to jump on washer to wait to be put in the sink. MAX was the treasure. The pic a few back is an uncanny likeness of him when he was about three. Had Brits for 2o years
-
Oh I love those pics---Our dog is a border collie and lab and listens so well--but she is much closer to my GS than to me--But I have Katie-Kat so Katie is always with me LOL
Stellina u will loose all virginity here of everything so fasten u'r seat belt, it will be a bumpy road but hopefully add to a happier day for u.Chevy
-
Excellant use of the new emoticon Cami!
Sas-- I'm on the list
Shells! I know what you mean! I am finishing 3 costumes today. Ugh! But it makes them happy. Wish it would make them do the dishes instead! -
As a kid we cut up a huge Japanes flag that Dad brought home from the war. He wasn't happy. We didn't get it.
-
$$$$$$$, yay you're on the LIST. Remember when Steve Martin in the jerk, ran down the street yelling "The phone books are here"
-
Oops! To the flag!
Yay for the list!! (we have "like" now!) -
In your pocket Mary. Ill bring the wine.
Welcome to our latest hooligan. It's only rihht that she's a star.
I'm sitting on the bus on my way to work for almost the last time. They had a going away party for me yesterday. It was nice. Weird tho.
Something about me you don't alread know.....well, my hair was down to my waist until the femara made it thin and brittle. Now it's up by my ears.
I can't type for chit when using a phone on a bus.
-
Hi, Sas. Please change the spelling of my real name to Jeanie. And add GiGi and Jinxy to my list of aliases. Thanks!
Welcome, Stellina! -
Savi thanks---need contacts?
I always recommend two, I'll be one if you haven't got two. The lucky thing for me is I get to talk to folks LOL. So, you may want to consider that
