SweetMary - It is  scary, but the odds are so much in her favor. The good news is that she is doing a good job at surveillance. Benign lumps in young breasts are not uncommon, just scary as chit when your momma has BC. Advising you to try not to worry too much is akin to advising you not to breathe. So my advice is: Deep Breaths. Be her Beacon of Light. 👊

Mary, thinking aobut your Daughter....  When lumps come up on these young gals, they are sometimes cysts or those pockets that sometimes need drained.  My oldest Daughter used to get them all the time...  Not so much anymore... 

Is your Daughter getting a diagnostic mammogram, where they tell her right then?  Or will she have to wait.
