Foley, please remember to share the diet when you get it. Good Luck with the pain doc.
-
GMA in your pocket...
Chevy. Cute one "Cindywithafrog" and my husband thinks he's a prince. Wait till I tell him Chevy said he is a frog.. Hahahaha
Cindy -
GMA - you will share the diet once you have it, right??? please!!!!
-
Grammie - I'll bring the wine AND the chocolate for your pocket party today. I hope you finally get some relief.
Chevy - Happy Happy Birthday!!!
-
GMA - what is your fave chocolate? Mine is Theo's dark chocolate with cherries and almonds, so I'll bring that plus a couple hershey bars - who doesn't like Hershey's? I'd bring some chocolate gelatto, but with all the hot bodies in that pocket, it'd probably melt.
-
Well now, nothing new here....I'm three pages late. Sigh !!!!! So, I'm just not even trying to keep up. Just letting you know that I hope all is well with every one and for the birthday girls....something chocolate for the best day of the year, every yr.
Happy, happy birthday to the birthday girls....Sas and Chevy.
Love, Lilli
-
Hey Chevy and Sas - I hope you share that cake with us in my pocket - it looks delish!
And Ladies I will definitely try to find the diet - She hasn't told me much - just that 2/3 days a week you have a smoothie day - nothing but and then you eat regular meals the rest of the week. Whatever is in the smoothie promotes your system with your metabolism - I haven't found it yet - I think it is all study research not available to the public yet - but Nutritionist says she is in direct contact with the BC center in the UK about it.
-
Thank you again my little friends! I LOVE the cake Lilli! And yes, my favorite candy IS dark chocolate with raspberries...ha!
Grammi! Yes, we used to HAVE a black 57" Chevy hardtop, WITH a stick that DH put in, AND he raced it also at CDR in Castle Rock! These boys and their need for speed....
I got to hate that thing, because of going 80 mph going down the highway, with it fish-tailing all over the road! DH was sometimes.... oh what can I say? I had better not. But then I got smart..... and had enough money to buy my OWN car, which meant I would only go in MY car, with ME driving.
It's STILL that way! And I lived happily ever after!
Thank you Savgigi! And yes Crogfrog.... Go tell DH is is a frog..... Ha, ha! Then kiss him, and see if he gives you a wart!
And thinking of you Grammie! xoxoxoxo
Morning Miss GardenG! Yes.... don't want you to melt!
-
Miss you all and am alive and well - Happy Birthday Sas and Chevy xoxoxoxo
-
April! Another Cake! Thank you! Glad you came to our party!!! We are getting ready to leave.... going to be another not one today! xoxoxo

April! Another Cake! Thank you! Glad you came to our party!!! We are getting ready to leave.... going to be another hot one today! xoxoxo

GG - "Theo's dark chocolate with cherries and almonds" OMG, I'm in love....or would be if I could just taste it!!
How many pockets are we in today? GmaFoley's, blondie's and cammi's? Did I miss anyone, 'cos I do that sometimes, strictly by accident. If we are in three pockets, do we put some in one pocket and some in another? Or do we just split outselves into the number of pockets, like I split into 3 for 3 pockets. If we do THAT is the mojo strong enough to help the Pocket Person? See, this is why I've never been allowed to teach small children. So many choices and so much mischief to make.
My girlfriend's brother had a '57 Chevy, at least I think it was a '57. It was PINK and BLACK! This was in 1969. It was pretty disgusting so we called it Jungle Rot. Our standard question was, "Hey Stevie, can we borrow Jungle Rot tonight? We gots hot dates!" He usually just rolled his eyes and told us to shut up.
Crog - your name makes me think of Crocs shoes, so I may call you ShoeGirl or SquishyHeel, or something ridiculous like that although I do see merit in Chevy's crocodile story.
cammi - bahahahahah "Be thankful u'r life isn't like Chevy's and feeding chikens and getting pecked all the time. She should be sad" That made me laugh so hard! You are exactly right. We should all compare our lives to Chevy's and then breathe a sigh of relief that we do NOT have chickens pecking us! I know I will.
shellybean - your notes to chevy - you are SO smart to be able to make the party appear on the NEXT page. Such suspenders! (autocorrect turned suspense into suspenders)
Jewels - Loved the AED and fire extinguisher!
chevy - AED is NOT automatic egg dispenser - it is a defibrillator - they have them on airplanes and we used to buy them for the airline.
lillypilly - I would like that cake please. Now.
-
Philly - we could put my pocket in Blondie's and then Blondie puts her pocket in Cammi's - that way all the parties are in the same place!
-
GmaF- whew! I was concerned. So glad you found the solution!
-
Happy Birthday Miss ChevyFairy
-
Bad news.
I'm not ready to talk about it.
-
((((((((((Veggy))))))))))
-
Oh Miss Veggy......we are here..lean on us my friend xoxo
-
About diet - there is another thread on BCO (not very active) about 600 calorie eating 2 days a week. Sounds much like this but not geared to "smoothies". It is more vegies/broth based. I am neither endorsing this nor have I tried it. I would like to think I have that much willpower but not sure.
GmaFoley - it does note the authors of the diet book are from the UK - Dr. Michael Mosley and Mimi Spencer. The FastDiet: Lose Weight, Stay Healthy, and Live Longer with the Simple Secret of Intermittent Fasting.
Far as I'm concerned pocket partays are magical so time travel, distance are no match for OUR MAGIC. So we're with GmaFoley, Blondie and Cami. Put on your magic coat and get ready for a RIDE!
Happy belated birthday to Sassy and Marywoohoo. AND Happy Birthday to Chevy today.
I'm staying in today but have to go to SS member's tomorrow for house cleaning party. Then back to hibernating. TOO darned hot.
Veggy - Love you.
-
Veggy, i am here for you any time/all the time.

((((((CyberHugs))))) Veggy we love you!!

Phgraham. It's funny you should say squishy heel as I am not only a breast cancer survivor but I am now a right below the knee amputee. My 5 and 3 year old granddaughters call my stump squishy cause that's what it looks and feels like to them...
(((((veggy)))))
Cindy aka Squishy Heel -
Veggy hugging you from here. Be

More hugs, Veggy.
April, good to see you again. I replied to your post on the Aromasin thread.
-
For you, Veggy:
-
Thanks for being in my pocket. Doc wants me to try tramadol and a timed release form of gabapentin. He says with alot of his patients, it works better. We talked about other options, but this is the less spendy. Here's hoping for a good sleep and no side effects.
-
Veggy..... Go get husband and curl up with him.... or just curl up with all of us..... xoxoxoxo
-
Good luck GMA. Hopefully this will help your pain - and as you say NO side effects.
BTW - I don't know if I mentioned this, but for about a year(?)ish after my mastectomy I had extraordinary sharp shooting pains when touched even lightly in one or two spots. Neither spot was anywhere near scars (one was actually in my back), but according to my doc the nerves were just terribly confused, and would transmit "PAIN" when should have been transmitting something else totally. It calmed down after awhile and now I don't have the problem anymore. So, here's hoping yours just goes away!!!
