Your welcome!

For Mary and Sas. You both need to celebrate big time.
Mary hoping your porch is done soon.
Shells - woohoo you'r done. Happy job hunting. Any prospects?
Sas - I snored sitting upright in the club chair yesterday then leaned over on the arm and slept more but then was useless for a couple of hours. We spent yesterday morning tearing apart a 900# round bale of hay for the goaties and putting it in shed, bags, trash bags so we were both pooped. I can sleep anywhere but sometimes not so good in the bed. Give me a comfy couch corner or better yet the junction of couch cushions and I'm gone. A trait I inherited from DM/GM.

Sorry hit submit rather than preview.
Welcome Lezza. Welcome to this crazee bunch. I'm NW of Ft. Worth.
Blondie - Does the unit have an emergency # on it? It should because anyone with would not know where to find your bill in an emergency. Did you get a concentrator? You need portable/E tanks also for power outages. If this is permanent you need to notify power company so you get priority service. Also your provider should make sure you're stocked for bad weather - snow, ice (LOL right now). Get them to send extra pieces of anything that you can replace yourself - cheaper on them in the long run. I think Medicare in the last 1-2 years has limited the # of providers so hopefully you got a good one. If not, raise some ruckus. Hope they gave you good instruction. My social worker took care of these notifications for our patients so there might be more. There was also some 411 they had to notify.
Chickeofnewpup - Cooper looks like such a snuggle bunny.

That's for Sas and Mary--not the one I picked but it's going to have to do.

I'm sitting at Dizzy castle with the grandkids and it is way to hard for me to go and play with them. I tried
definitely a mistake. I guess that they are having a grand time anyway, so it's all good. This week I have found everything I can't do with pain and LE.
-
How's about another one Mary?
Gma - Dizzy Castle name is enough to do me in. Told y'all I've been doing exercises. Decided I cannot do the ones on the floor. Too hard to get up. LOL
-
WE just love to hear good news !!!!!

Went out today with dd and younger ds. Its dd 24 birthday. We had a really nice time.We got her a new ceiling fan and some curtains for her birthday, and then went out for lunch. Ds is in the dumps about new girlfriend having some kind of account on some role-playing thing on the internet.Sounds like a bunch of wierdo stuff to me..I dont get it. She evidently takes it pretty seriously. Poor ds is beside himself, he really liked this girl, His first REAL girlfriend. He asks for my advise, but I cant help him cause I dont know what the hell hes talking about...Sometimes I think all this technology is going to ruin us all...
-
This is where we are. http://www.dizzycastle.com/
-
Marywithaworry! Would it be something like this?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_text-based_role-playing_game
I don't understand it all either.... and probably don't want to.... but I've heard about kids getting involved with this.... AND other websites. I don't even like Face Book, or any of the dating sites. They can get into too much trouble with these.
Is it taking away time from your Son? Does she choose this stuff over him? I know he really likes her, but he is very young....Maybe this is a good thing? Maybe she is just too preocupied with her role-playing.... Tell him to just coast awhile.... He has LOTS of time to figure out girls.... and yes..... I agree about way too much technology taking over.
-
Grammie! That looks like Chuck E. Cheezes that we used to have here in Denver! Don't know if it's still around or not...
I know about getting down, and trying to get up....Ha! I have a "kneeler" and I love it! It's good for gardening, and cleaning out my lower cupboards.

Congrats ladies on the great reports! BE

Chevronette - you are one smart cookie for finding that URL. I can see how that might be a way to express your ya yas, whatever they may be, without having to live with the consequences, although it sounds like there are personal consequences when you do it to the exclusion of your real relationships.
Let's say that a part of one wished they could be an engineer instead of a nurse - one could go play engineer with their friends without having to change careers or go to school. Or if one wanted to have a passionate affair with a poet, or go to Paris and walk the Champs-Élysées with a flowing silk scarf trailing behind them.
Hey, here's another fantasy- wouldn't it be cool if one of us wrote a book about our thread? Anonymity would be protected, no real screen names or anything that would give us away, but wouldn't it be fun to read our shenanigans in a story? We could use the money to pay for BC related expenses for our sisters. Holymoly since I now have SO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS my mind is meandering (shut up Cammi/ Chevy).
-
I had thought of something like that too! I mean where else can you find all of us woman, going through cancer, and other illnesses, but still teasing and making fun of each other? We can be serious, and outrageous... and not blink an eye. It's like we love each other, and would do as much as we can to help one of us.... and we don't even KNOW each other.... I mean most of us. I wonder if I could say "us" any more?
I love being silly, and I love maybe making someone laugh... especially when their days are spent getting chemo, and tests....etc. But it's YOU guys, that make this thread so much fun!
Oh, please don't ask Cammi to write a book! Are you kidding? NO-one would have a CLUE what she is talking about.... and THAT'S why I love her.
-
-
Awwwwwwwwwww
-
Hi little Shells! I love you too! So YOU can write "our" story..... Ha!
-
That was so sweet Chevy. and yep that is exactly the kind of role-playing game shes playing. Take off on some tv show..I just dont understand what the big attraction to something like that is...I just hate to see ds so sad. He is such a good kid, we all know what heart break first loves can be....They're never as good as you think they're going to be...
-
You know, when I was working for Coors, I wrote a book.... It was all about the history of the Coors family, the history of beer, all about prohibition, the tour I used to give, and even how we malted the barley.... I studied all the time.... Found the "library" and spent all my spare time checking out books about malting, the different types of yeast, hops.... and why Coors was the best brewer in the world.
We always got so many questions, giving tours.... So I wanted to make sure I had the right answers....
Man, it was HARD, but a labor of love.... Over 500 copies were printed, but we never had it published... They were given to the family, Distributors, and employees, that wanted one. I loved interviewing Bill Coors.... and hearing how he and his Brothers started out..... and their thoughts about not wanting to be unionized.....
I called it A Rose and a Glass of Beer. Because Adolph the First, used to invite guests into his brewery, and they could have a beer, and he would present each of the ladies with a rose.... (and a glass of beer) They always had their own green-house which supplied all the offices, and later on the "Lounge" that was there when I started work there in 1980. I loved that job.... AND the family. But since then everything has changed.... Guess that's the way with everything.
So now what were we talking about????
-
Cool story Miss Chevy......
This is how I picture your beauty!
love the book idea and helping other woman.....
Didnt sleep worth chit ((((Cami))))) I figured the puppy would keep me up last night so I did not take my Ambien....apparently I'm addicted...now I'm exhausted and Cooper has been napping all day...its gonna be another long night...lol
So nice to see everyone loving everyone!
-
Ahem I'm here and I can read u know CHEVY-Just can't type. I had the idea when I first started with cnacer--well actually one of my GF's did cuz everything I was going thru we were always laughing at how silly and stupid I was (am) so she said to name it Laughing my way thru cancer and it would be very upbeat instead of all saddy things so it could unsad people--then that stupid show came out and it was not nearly as funny as my experiences were and that just floated into idea land. LOL
Mary those stupid games are horrible, it's creating a land of idiots who are starting not to have real converstions with real people. plus some really sick people get on those and somehow get info. U'r poor son he's stuck with an unhappy girl who like to think in a fairyland, I wish he would meet someone else.
Well ladies I'm home alot I can type pages of things too. That will be our medical section no one will understand so no one can sue us.
-
Someone might buy the movie rights and make a film!!
Okay, biiiiig question...who would you have play your part (there would have to be scenes of us typing, er, trying to type). I have dibs on Michelle Pfeiffer. We all can have really cute actresses to play us cause we're all so adorable.
