Within the group of patients with luminal A disease, only those with lobular carcinoma treated with tamoxifen did relatively poorly, he reported, while within the luminal B group, tamoxifen patients did worse regardless of histology, although the gap was greater for those with lobular disease.

So clearly the 10 years of tamoxifen is cancer-specific and lobuar, it sounds like, doesn't benefit at all from tamoxifen.  Lovely.....

editing to add: I just want to weep.  3+ years of my life wasted on tamoxifen for no reason except for an endometrial biopsy and zero benefit.  I wonder when they will tell us lobulars that arimidex was useless too.
