20 Greatest Medical Challenges: Cancer Cure is NOT among them

    Don't get me wrong, I love TED, and would probably love TEDMED too.  But apparently cancer cure is NOT very challenging for them.   

    There's one item that includes Cancer as "Management of Chronic Conditions".   I don't think majority of stage 4 aggressive breast cancer is really manageable yet, certainly not chronic in the way diabetes and heart disease patients have decades to expect.

    None of them are real "challenges". They seem like feel-good issues. More patient participation! Eliminate medical errors! Eradicate childhood obesity!

    Nothing that hasn't been dealt with hundreds of times before in ways that are probably more effective.

    Maybe they should just call it "20 Greatest challenges for health policy"?
