Electric shocks

I'm new here but was diagnosed in 2008 with stage 3 advanced invasive ductal carcinoma. I've had a right side mastectomy in 2008, then 2010 reconstruction by DIEP and recently a breast reduction on my left side. The thing that I have been experiencing recently is shock in my right "breast" it's where my nipple used to be and is like one of the kids game when you get a shock through your body. It's mostly at night but occasionally during the day. I have tried laying on my front but nothing seems to dispel them. They can be frequent (6/7 times a minute) or infrequent. Is this normal?

Hello Tjp, I am thinking you may get more replies to your question about feeling a shock sensation in your DIEP reconstructed breast if you were to repost on the (relatively new) Pain discussion board. It is under tests, treatment side effects.
