Pain - expander area and in armpit - can expander shift ?

I had unilateral mastectomy on the left side on nov 26. Expander is placed. I m having low grade fever. It did go upto 101 today. I am feeling lots of tenderness under armpit area. Two lymph nodes were removed during surgery and result was negative. Still waiting on my full pathology report or the treatment options. Is the tenderness because of expander is normal? Nurse told me PS put 350 cc expanders and it is already filled by 100 cc.

Have you called your Dr.? I would expect some pain and discomfort but a fever could indicate an infection. Did your Dr. put you on antibiotics after surgery? I was on antibiotics for about 5 weeks.
