Pathology report came in mail DCIS with focus on Microinvasion.

I have just about aceepted the fact I have DCIS and have almost wrapped my brain around having a mastectomy but then this report came in the mail. My obgyn did not call me with it and I have never been referred to a oncologist. I met with a surgeon already and I am waiting on a MRI. My steretactic biospy came back DCIS with microinvasion focus AE1/AE3. Does anyone have any idea what that means. Please help .

    The AE1 and AE3 are staining processes in the preparation of your slides for pathology. It is stating DCIS was found, but not sure without more information whether there is microinvasion, or that they were looking for it with the staining procedure.
