Please help provide information about daughter.

I am waiting for a copy of the path report but daughter went to dr. today with her husband for micro path report after grade 3 DCIS initial diagnosis. We thought everything was stopped by the bilateral mast. but are now told today that daughter has metastasis in one node that was taken and mico invasion and she is now going to see an oncologist on Tuesday and will definately begin chemo. I hope to get a copy of the path report tomorrow.  Can anyone please explain what is going on? After the initial surgery, the dr. said it was stage 0 but I am assuming that is no longer the case.   Daughter tends to not want to talk about this yet which I totally respect but I am freaking out not knowing what all this means.  I know without specifics about the path thtat there is not much you can tell me but please help me get a feel for what is potentially to come.  Thanks so much.
