Hi mods. I was wondering if you folks know of any links for any info on this subject.I guess I am one of the few people who are being monitored for this condition not given a lot of info from R.O at this time except general things like going to a particular diet, keeping track of my weight and pain ect.

thank you for any info that you can give and if you can,t that is O.K I thought I would try    roberta

Roberta, you might want to re-post this under the heading "Chronic Radiation Syndrome". It might bring you some responses. Some people will only open threads if they figure they can either help someone or get info, and your heading was a bit ambiguous.

I hope you find the help you need.

    All the best.

Um, Roberta, I was suggesting that you do this post again under a new heading. Sorry, I should have been more clear about it.

Hi Roberta! We're so sorry we're just seeing this thread -- if in the future you have a question directly for us and don't get a response, please feel free to PM us and we'll respond promptly!

Unfortunately, we don't have any information on Chronic Radiation Syndrome at this time on the main Breastcancer.org site, but we are adding this to a list for the editorial team to research and develop information for this topic -- thanks for bringing it to our addention!

In the meantime, as Leah suggested, we'll change the title of the thread for you to Chronic Radiation Syndrome, to hopefully elicit some helpful responses!

Interesting, did your RO specifically say you were monitored for this?  Usually, this terminology has been for people who were exposed to really high doses of radiation due to diasters like Chernobyl, or the bombs in WWII.  The doses that are received by cancer patients is much less than these amounts.  It is interesting, to me, that they are merging these two rather different exposures together.

I am sorry you are having problems, Ro-berta.
