Pain 4yrs after Lumpectomy

I have made an appt with my doctor but its 3 weeks away.

At age 24 I had two lumps removed from the inside of my right breast. The doc didnt want to remove them as he said they "werent cancerous" but had no medical test to prove this. The nurse insisted I get them removed as my family history of breast cancer, cervial cancer and just the cancer history of my family.  I removed them and as the doctor predicted they were nothing. They didnt knjow what they were but they were not cancerous.

Here I am at 29 about to be 30 and I noticed durring one of my monthly self checks that when I press (lightly) on or around the area there is a buring sensation. I hadnt noticed it before but I did notice some discomfort durring the day, it was sparadic and honestly I thought it was my bra.  The area that the lump was removed I was told would fill with fluid, it did and you could tell the difference when it finally filled. Now It fills like the fluid is gone. When I called to make my appt the receptionist told me to lay off caffeen. I did and still no improvement.

Have you had this experence? What is it?  Should I be worried?

My doc had to reschedule for a month from now, and its bugging me.  Anyone give me any ideas?
