Hi all,
Trying to catch up on the reading and what really made an impression on me is that thru this journey of our life there is so much positive emotions, such humor, and such compassion. I am proud to be a sister of all.
I had my final chemo yesterday whoo hoo!! I am still on an excited high. Will get the rads started in about 3 weeks. Hoping for minimal fatigue because that is my biggest barrier right now.
Love and hugs to all, Sheryl

Scans went OK - long as no phone calls in between my MO appt. on the 28th I am taking not hearing as good news. Left work at 2pm yesterday - was so tired. Came home and slept for 2 hours and felt better for it.

I have spent a glorious few days with Jo, just what I needed and last night we skyped
with Tazzy...that was so wonderful. Today, Jo and I are having lunch with Roadrunner
and then I'm heading back to Toronto, to reality to DH and my two boys....yikes my holiday is really coming to an end...😥. -
Sheryl - congratulations! So happy for you. Another milestone.
Congrats to Websister too.
100 pages, wow. Yes, here's to the next 100! We are a bunch of Chatty Cathy's. is any one old enough to remember that doll.
Looking forward to today's Pocket trips. I wish it was a weigh in day. So much can happen in the next week. Love seeing that our efforts are paying off.
I'm baking cookies today. This batch is for my Poodle Liberty. Definitely no calories here.
Welcome home Scottie. We've been pretty good. -
So much to celebrate!!!
Officially done rads as of 0830 this a.m., thanks for all the congratulations.
100 pages! Such a wonderful group - the support here is priceless
Believe - I do remember Chatty Cathy - I wanted one so badly - didn't happen for me, insult to injury was that my closest cousin got one
SherylB - congratulations on finishing chemo, glad you have a few weeks prior to rads, the fatigue from rads caught me a little by surprise, take good care of yourself
Tazzy - rest up well this weekend
Going to go out for lunch with some of my co-workers to celebrate - finding some happy, Ramols
Hugs to all -
Websister.....congrats....yes, time to celebrate...💃
-
Wonderful milestone websister - celebrate !
Yes, it was fun to skype with Jo and Scottie - cant wait to meet you ALL in real life.
Looking forward to my weekend - DH gone away for a boy's weekend in Vulcan, Alberta and I am blissfully spending mine on my own. Just meeting up with a friend for lunch tomorrow and that is it
Have a lovely Friday Ladies!
-
You know I forget that my hubby set me up with a Skype acct. Do I know my screen name? uh no! Guess i better figure it out huh. Geez, I'm so smart I kill myself! Someone needs to Gibbs smack me sometimes. Please don't line up all at once though.
-
Chrisrenee, I had to google "Gibbs smack" lol. I love that show. No Gibbs smacking from me. Took Scottiee to the bus and then for a pedi ... Nice bright fuschia ....
-
That is one of my favorite shows. I'm currently watching the last several weeks. I love that show.
-
Congrats Websister...you got your European tan
100 PAGES OF CARING AND SHARING!
Have to share some great news!! My daughter has been asked to lead the Junior U.S. Girl's Jewish National Soccer Team as their Head Coach for the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel this summer! This is very much like an Olympics with competitors from around the world, an opening ceremony akin to the Olympics etc. Never thought her playing recreational soccer as a little one would lead to this at age 26!!
-
Wow Aruba. That is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations to you daughter and you. Will you be going to Israel too? I've never been but I'd live to see it, someday. Israel is always in my prayers.
Well Sisters - any good news that needs to be shared? So many biggies today. It's pretty quiet so I guessing everyone is resting on this Friday night. -
What an honor for your daughter, Aruba! Congratulations!
-
Aruba- congrats to your daughter what an achievement!
Websister- what did you do for you graduation from Rads?
Believe- does not killing my staff or patients qualify for good news? I'm doing absolutely nothing on my Friday night. Hope everyone has a good night! -
Chrisrenee - I went out for lunch with some of my co-workers but otherwise, not too much. One son turned 28 yesterday, one turns 18 tomorrow and I'm flying out to stay with with oldest son and his family on Sunday so have been a little busy. Congratulations on the restraint you showed in preserving the lives of your staff and patients
Have a good weekend. -
Aruba: How wonderful for you and your daughter - congrats !
Happy Friday evening everyone... although for some of you nearly over.
-
Chrisrenee- I hope your staff and patients are having a good week end. Did you let them know how lucky they are? You will be very popular on Monday. Glad you are getting some rest.
I'm very tired tonight too. I think it's listening to all of you talk about working! I honestly don't know how you all do it and you do it so well! You all inspire me!
I wonder if Scottie will show us her fuschia toes? Joann - what color did you get? -
Chrisrenee, get lots of rest ...
Believe, I wrote that wrong ... I took Scottiee to the bus and then I went for a pedicure. My toes are fuschia ...
Aruba, what an accomplishment for your daughter ... You must all be so proud. -
Tazzy, I'm with you, just chillin this weekend as Hubby at tournament (he coaches travel league girls soccer, continued coaching even when DD went on to high school and he has never stopped)...
Believe, no we won't go although would be great as she will be there a month and as her first head coaching experience, she is a college assistant coach as full time job. We would be distraction. (she would want to see us when she needs to focus on team. I have not been to Israel. We thinking of big trip somewhere next summer to celebrate our 30th.
-
Joanne - do we get to see?
Aruba - 30 years wow. We are close but not there yet. This is a 2nd marriage for both of us. He did better the 2nd time around :-), except for the BC part... -
I'm probably getting ready to go to bed. Turning off ALL alarms. Hopefully I will be able to sleep until at least 10 tomorrow.
-
Christened and Fellow Warriors - Sweet Dreams!
-
Chrisrenne: I am hoping for the same too.
Believe: Ditto to your post.
Goodnight sweet ladies.
