I'm having a short (< 2 hour long) surgical procedure (probably just IV sedation).  I probably will be lying on my LE side during it.  Any thoughts about whether  I should wear my Tribute or day garments?  If day garments, class I or class II?  The doc says either is fine with him.  KS1

I wore my Day sleeve and glove for my cataract surgeries last Feb.   Worked great.   The prep time (numbing drops in eye every so often for about 2 hrs) was a lot longer than the surgery itself so I was up/moving around during that time so day garments seemed logical to me.

KS, especially if you'll be lying on that side, you'll be a lot more comfortable when you wake up if you use the Tribute. Make sure it's washed before the procedure, and you may want to wash it again after. If you know how to wrap yourself, that's even better. I've tried both Tribute and wrapping and both worked well. They had a hard time getting an ID band on my wrapped arms--had to tape two of them together to get them to fit. None of them had never seen a LE night garment, so lots of questions. I use these opportunities to hand out pages of LE information. They actually appreciate it.

Gentle hugs, and do let us know how it goes!

Binney, when you hand out pages of LE information, what are you giving them?  I'll bet I'm not the only one who would like to know where to find whatever it is that you give to your care team when you're wrapped or in your night garment for some kind of medical procedure.
