i started the AE37 trial last week. Last wed the nurse first drew blood from my left arm-left mast last minth,no node removal. She then gave me my mini injection in thigh. Then she took probly 3 bps inthat same arm as blood draw.. She drew the blood from the cephalic vein-thats the outside vein. Wed nite the area of the other vein-the basilic-thats the one closer to body started with a little swollen area and pain. Friday i went back for the big injection of vaccine. Nd at least 4 more bp to that area.



It now has visible red area started, cont to hurt, no warmth. Swollen area to elbow area same. I put my sleeves back on tonite, elevating arm, will see my nurse in am, talk this over with her. But it seems to me i have damaged vein to arm.



If there were no nodes removed, is it okay to draw blood from that arm?
