2nd biopsy in 4 months.... Concerned about recurrence

Hi everyone!

My story is a little unusual, but bear with me. I found a lump in my breast when I was 28 & I was diagnosed with grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma (node positive). After 3 breast operations, 8 rounds of AC/T chemo and 36 sessions of radiation I am in remission and I got to keep my breast!

I have been in remission for 9 months now, and 4 months ago they found a mass that turned out to be a fibroatanoma (sp?). Yesterday they found a new mass and I'm scheduled for my 2nd biopsy since I finished treatment. I want to believe that it's nothing, but I'm feeling so defeated. Has anyone had multiple new masses after treatment that turned out to be nothing? Anything would help right now

Thank for reading,

Alethea

Yes I have had three biopsys in two years! I have been told its because of our age and the breast tissue is very dense so it is hard to tell what is what! I am 27 and was dx when I was 25 with stage 2 ER+ breast cancer!...are you taking tamoxifen???

    Hey Holly,

I am taking Tamoxifen... But it's a struggle to be compliant because of the hot flashes & nausea. Are you taking Tamoxifen? I was freaking out a bit, but thanks to you I'm more calm. I'm sure it's nothing :-)

    Thanks!
