It is, and has been, on our wish list.  We hear your frustration and ask for a little more patience.

    Thanks

    Hi Everyone,

Just tried to put my birth year into my profile without the month and date.  Still not happening.  If I put month, day and year everything shows, but since I would prefer only the year... oh well...

Seems like a small thing, but my friends and I are still talking about this.  It's coming up to one year since I first brought this up :-(.

    Hi Rocky,

Again, we understand your frustration with this. We do still have this on our list of upgrades. Unfortunately, these things take time and money and we appreciate your patience while we work on accommodating as many member requests as possible.

    Thank you,

I tried again to just put my birth year into my profile without the month and day. No go. I'm not sure why anyone would even want their actual month and day, but I still think the year alone is most important and many of us would have put that in our profiles as opposed to leaving it blank altogether.

Seems kinda simple. Looks like the input area here has been updated and that is why I thought I'd give it a try again. Oh ya... what happened to spell check?

Rockym, there hasn't yet been any change in the approach to including a birth year in a profile, although many members have included birth year in their signature so it will appear with every post if they choose to share that information.

Spell check has changed, but it is still here! Most members will see a wavy red line under questionable words as they type. Right clicking on the underlined word (or Option + Click for Macs) will open a menu of choices - including suggested options, and the ability to add words to the dictionary.
