I have been finger and hand wrapping for the past 3 months and am still w/o glove. When rolling up the gauze bandages in the usual way, they'd often roll off my lap and get partially undone. I now found an easy solution. I use the inner core of a roll of plastic wrap (made out of cardboard) and just roll the bandages around them. When I need a bandage or two, I slide them right off the tube, rolled and all without any problems. An additional benefit is that they roll up faster this way.

When I go to my PT (not for LE but for my hand problems), I just unwrap the hand, roll the bandages around the tube that I took along and presto - I'm ready to rewrap after treatment.By the way, they don't come undone while on the tube.

I use Mollelast and really like the brand. Does anyone have a good experience with other brands? I just wish that they'd make these bandages with a dirt resistant layer, so I wouldn't have to launder them constantly.
