Feels like a pulled muscle

Hi everyone, I haven't been here for quite a while.  Friday will be my five year anniversary since my diagnosis.  For several weeks, I've had this feeling in my "good" (aka remaining) breast that feels kind of like a pulled muscle.  Not bad, can't feel any lumps, doesn't really hurt when I touch it.  I think I'll just wait and see.  My question is, how many of you felt pain in your breast that sent you to your doctor?  I'm not really worried, its just more of a nagging feeling.  I don't think about cancer every day any more.  Don't want to start again...

Most of the time, breast cancer isn't painful, but some people do experience pain.  I didn't, so I don't know what to tell you.  If it feels like a pulled muscle, then it is likely that that is all it is.  If you are worried about it or if it continues to bother you, then - most definitely - go and have it checked out.  While I don't want to tell you to not be concerned, sometimes a muscle ache is just that.

You don't mention if you are on any anti-hormonals, but my onc told me that any decrease in estrogen (i am on an ovarian suppressant) can cause changes in your breasts...maybe that's what you are feeling?

A lot of people go by the two-week rule: if it still hurts after 2 weeks, get it checked.  If it has been persistent for several weeks, you should probably get it checked. If only for peace of mind.
