    Annie4 - I have had great success with probiotics to treat mouth sores from Afinitor.  My pharmacist said the drug kills the good bacteria (like a strong antibiotic does) which results in thrush or mouth sores.  I take one that contains acidophilus as well as four other bacteria, but I think anything with acidophilus would work.  AFter my first two weeks on Afinitor, I suffered terribly.  I couldn't eat or even talk because my tongue was so sore.  AFter two or three days of taking the probiotics, I was fine.  It's been three months now and I haven't had any more problem.  It's worth a try.

    Hopeful, I did the same all through chemo and completely escaped mouth sores. I had a bit of wooly mouth a few times, but that was it.
