Flu shot and radiation

I finished radiation 11 months ago and had a regular flu shot about ten days ago. I nearly passed out that evening. My arm has been extremely sore, and I had several days of fatigue and physical depression.
Could my immune system having to struggle to create the antibodies?
Is anyone else having such problems?
