Liver Resection, with Hypertrophy of remaining liver?

My liver has become enlarged and is pressing against the diaphram causing the lining of the wall to thin. My stomach is also distended so much so it causes nausea, pain and discomfort. My extrahepatic duct is dilated into the pancreatic head which  worries me. My surgeon didn't think it was significant, but I believe this is the why the liver is enlarged and my stomach distended.

After doing some research on the internet, it suggest that lobular atrophy occurs with biliary and portal vein obstruction, unilateral if confined to atrophilic lobe with possible malignant infiltration. CT scans can only determine tumors over 2cm otherwise it only suggest a dilation in the duct.  I guess its up to me to request a test be done to determine what the cause of the dilation of my duct.  I need some relief that this cancer hasn't spread to my duct or pancreas
