surgical scar not healing

Options

I had a bmx in July and I had an area on my right breast that didnt heal properly. In August, my bs reattached the area and after 4 weeks it was healed perfectly. A few weeks ago when I went to ps to get filled he noticed a tiny area on the scar that was white and he refused to fill me until it healed. Well I have already canelled 1 appt cause it wasnt healed and now I am gonna have to cancel my appt for next week. Its about the width of a pencil and there is a smaller spot next to it. I have been putting neosporin on it like my doctor told me to but it seems to be getting worse. I have also put aloe gel on my foobs and vit e oil on them as well. Does anyone have any suggestions on something else I could be doing? I have tissue expanders in. I also take a ton of vitamins including biotin. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Oh and I have put on a lot of weight. Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advane for any help. I also posted this in the surgery section.  I was hoping you may have a supplement or natural herbal suggestion.

I had a problem healing, but I would describe the appearance as different than yours. I'll spare you the details. It was skin necrosis and required prescription Silvadene cream. In lieu of that, I was told to use Bacytracin, which I think is similar to Neosporin. Another good cream I used during radiation was Calendula.

Thanks Mary. My original problems was necrosis and I also used silvadene and that is the area that was redone during my second surgery. It doesnt look black like that anymore. Its white almost pus like.

Note this is not medical advice but since you have already tried aloe and Vit E - might you consider coconut oil?  I mention because I had a bad burn on my hand and it helped heal it very well. I did apply Bacitracin initially to prevent infection and then switched to organic virgin coconut oil.  This is certainly no comparison to your wound but see this article if you are interested.

I went through the same phase that you are now. After the black color was gone, then there was the white, almost pus-like, color with a little green in it. I was told it was a deeper layer of skin. They had me use the Silvadene all through that. Your doctor may be different. However, I don't know of anything else to use since they had me use Silvadene until it completely healed over.
