Did your lumps move around?

Hi,

The other day I found a lump. I am only 27 and I am still nurisng my son. I went to my dr, who referred me to get a mammo and ultrasound. I was denied the mammo because of my age, and the ultrasound made them think it was a lymph node. However, when I asked how sure they were, he said he was 85% sure and Id have to monitor it to make sure it doenst get bigger. That's not good enough of an answer for me.

My question is, did your lumps move? I am told that if you can move them, its a good sign. But did anyone have cancer and also have mobile lumps?

Thanks

I'd see a breast surgeon & have a needle biopsy to be sure but that's me & I have a strong family history of BC.  I nursed all four girls & I had one lump while preggo with last baby. since i was pregnant we bipassed both the sono and mamo & went straight to BS who did biopsy in office.  It came back fine then but now it's back 5yrs later. Mamo & sono confirmed two in right breast side by side & a third one in left breast. I had scheduled stereotactic biopsies scheduled that turned into lumpectomies.  waiting on results & will know on Monday!
Hopefully you just a milk duct clogged since you are still nursing but no harm in checking I say! good luck :)

My lump was movable and I was at the end of breastfeeding. They were convinced it was a clogged duct but I pushed to get a biopsy. Thank god I did because I was triple negative and it was an aggressive tumor.
