4 billion dollars on digital mammogram, x billions on pink products, 76 million on metastatic breast cancer research (the cure) by certain big bc charity over several years.

Time for the realities of mbc to enter the mainstream consciousness.   The mortality rate that inches lower over 2 decades and still >50% (over 5 years).   Metastatic breast cancer is not a good cancer to get, because it still got no cure.   The many options that theorectically is available for trying out, unless your cancer grow too fast or you die from a thousand complications from cancer or therapies.   

No cure, people.   Being aware is good, but get to work is better.

cp418, thanks for starting the thread.  I began dealing with bc in December 2010.  Up till now, it's been difficult for me to deal with all the activism and advocacy of this disease.  That's because I am stage iv, and that in itself has been hard to come to terms with.  Now all this kind of information is starting to sink in, and I am being persuaded to educate others that we need ACTION.
