Crystalphm - good idea about the thin medical latex gloves!

And another reason to wear a sleeve/gauntlet on plane - good conversation starter.  My last plane trip sat next to a man who was a 30 yr breast cancer survivor who had a mastectomy.  He said he wore a sleeve for 25 years, then finally quit because he was 85 and didn't care anymore!

Crystal--I also carry the plastic food service gloves that are cheap and put them over my hands when I am in a public restroom (at home too).  So easy to toss afterward.

    Shame on MGH ( again!)
They never told me SQUAT about LE.

I had a woman  from this forum who was 20 yrs out PM me recently. She took a flight and ended up with LE ...20 yrs out !

Anyhow, yesterday, I looked on their website and found this :

    http://www.massgeneral.org/cancer/assets/pdfs/Lymphedema%20BreastCancerFact%20Sheet.pdf

I was thinking how helpful it would have been as a handout to all BC pts.

Still, I do not like their ' advice " on flying. They are so loose  , I can see women  doing it- yet they (MGH) do cover their ars.

LtotheK mentioned carrying card of all conditions / meds etc ...

There is such a thing as a FILE OF LIFE card. You can put a magnetized one on your fridge for EMT and also should have one in your purse.

Your local fire station  may be able to give you one.

    Check out :http://www.positivepromotions.com/file-of-life-magnet/p/IOS3536/
