What do you crave or will not give up?
Ok - this is meant to be a fun post. We try so hard to make daily healthy choices with diet and exercise - - but what is that one little treat or item you really still indulge in?
I confess - dark chocolate pecan turtles. If I walk past a candy store while on vacation where they make home made chocolates - well I simply have to go inside and get a few. Also about 3 times per year I will have some ice cream as in the summer time. The rest of the time I can completely pass on it.

Cherry Vanilla ice cream. Some places its known as Whitehouse. We have 3 different shops that sell homemade ice cream but Katie's Corners is my favorite

Deep-fried wonton wrappers with cannoli filling to dip them in!

Fun topic!
Well, for me I simply love to have regular Dunkin Donuts home brewed coffee WITH half and half cream EVERY MORNING! I have almost no other dairy and almost no sweets, (well except for special occassions), and eat mostly a plant-based low fat diet otherwise.
But coffee with skim milk tastes yucky to me. I asked my cancer center nutritionist about it and she said it was better than fake creamers by far.
So I enjoy good coffee with real half and half as my daily guilty pleasure and somehow then I am able to pass on the sweets.

I am a plain green tea drinker all week at home. However, when I shop at Wegmens there is coffee bar where I purchase their Organic decaf for my coffee fix. I sprinkle in some cinnamon and mocha powder to "girl it up" with some real milk. Minimal to no fat dairy at home.

I have so many allergies that it is tough to find a real treat. Chocolate allergy for years led me to Almond torte or bear claws. Recent Update at Doctors and 300 skin pricks (not all at once) for allergies adds ALMONDS, rice and soy and both egg yolk and whites. Who on earth is allergic to rice?
To put the "fun" in this -- I am still able to carry around 20 (or so....) extra pounds. Maybe someone has an idea when the craving for sweets rears its ugly head.

Adding to previous post -- beer is out due to rice allergy, but most other alcohol is in !!!!! Rum and coke with a lime - known as Cuba Libre works once in a while.

Although I have given it up now - I loved a nice glass of white wine! There was nothing better than enjoying a glass while watching the boats sail past

Cheese! Full fat real cheese. But, I just read this and now I might rethink that. I was so bummed out after reading this, esp since I am highly ER/PR+

Butter on my toast. Won't give it up. Won't. Won't. Won't. Willing to go low/no fat on all other dairy, but not butter.

Chocolate, , I can almost taste it as I write. And Amy's cheese enchilada and black bean microwave dinner.
-
Once or twice in the summer I have to have a dark chocolate Dove ice cream bar.
