Stickers to mark radiation point marks

Options

The place where I receive radiation marks your skin then places clear, round stickers overtop of the marks.  My current stickers have been on there about a week and a half.  Is there a certain amount of time these stickers need to be replaced?  This woman who has her daily appointment a few minutes before me showed me her chest where the stickers were left on too long and the radiation burned the sticker into her skin.  There were obvious round circles on her chest where the skin was pulled up along with the sticker.  I asked the radiation tech people (I don't know their title) and they said it was fine...I dunno.

Angie, I only had the stickers temporarily until the third tx, when they applied the tattoo marks.  My skin reacts to some adhesives, and sure enough, I had ugly red patches after the stickers were removed.  I would definitely speak to the RO about this.  Good luck!

I had mine the whole five weeks. They were hard to get off. But my skin held up pretty well. I used miaderm only. Applied it a lot. But never within 4 hrs of treatment

I refused the tattoos and did the stickers. They replaced them every Friday and each time they did the scan to verify correct position. I never had any problems.

If you are worried about it then you might want to ask your RO.

I'm skipping tattoos and doing just stickers too.

I had mine replaced once a week or whenever they peeled/rubbed off in the summer heat. The adhesive on mine wasn't too strong so by Friday they were loose. There were one or two though that held on really well. When the stickers changed for boosts I actually had less tissue damage and discoloration under the sticker area. Hope all goes smoothly for u. If the stickers r not loose pulling them off can really damage the tender rads skin so they won't do it. A really steamy whose and lotion couls get my stickers loose.
