Possible to Customize Active Topics?

Hi Mods, 

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere. I really like scrolling through the Active topics but wonder if it's possible for us to customize them to exclude topics/threads that are not relevant to our situations?

I thought of trying to use "My Favorite Topics" for that purpose, but would that mean scrolling through all the messages in each topic to get the active ones?

Lou, you're right that My Favorite Topics is likely the best solution for now, but we'll bring the question to the developers, to see if there's something they may be able to implement for a future upgrade.

If you're using Active Topics, be sure your screen is set wide enough to show all four columns (Topic, Forum, Latest Post, Created By) to help scan past the forums that don't interest you more easily. 

In My Favorite Topics, the most recent topics will rise to the top, and show when the last post was made in each forum, so that may help too.
