nightmare

Options

Just had a nightmare and woke up brawling, really brawling. This has never happened before. I'm just now climbing back onto the "standard care" bandwagon, going for radiation mapping Tues. Other than that, no medications, no major changes in life. I wonder why the nightmare. Now I can't sleep, everyone is asleep, nobody to talk to...

Hey Chrissy! Thanks for hanging around for me.

The nightmare was really terrible. I dreamt that someone was trying to throw a stone to kill my guinea pig because it was the cause of some argument between me and dad. I have no idea where that came from. I'll be heading home to visit family in a week's time. I will not say I have the perfect relationship between me and dad but dad changed his plan so that he will be around when I'm home. I've been looking forward to the trip to the point that I forgot I was suppose to go for radiation therapy.

Trying to calm down so that I can get back to dreamland. Hopefully no more nightmares...

It sounds as though your Dad is showing some willingness to be there when you come home. That's encouraging. Maybe subconsciously, you have been a bit stressed about meeting him, or not, on your upcoming family visit. That's where the nightmare came in. Times of crisis, in this case, your ongoing health crisis, put into perspective long standing unresolved relationship issues. But sleep well tonight, and trust Life. Things will fall into their own places, like pieces of a big puzzle. How do I know ? Well, your Dad , in his own way, is telling you he cares. How's that for a sign ?

    Faith and peace to you.
