Hi ladies, my mom is T4 N0 (pN0) M0 - so no nodal involvement and this would have normally been a Stage Ia.  However, she did have involvement of the skin and so she's Stage IIIb. I cannot seem to get the cancermath to work -- it keeps showing her as Stage Ia.

Any suggestions on how to make it show Stage IIIb -- and show the correct info?

pp, I am IIIB too, T4, N2, M0, not IBC though. When I do cancer math with my details, it gives me IIB. I am puzzled myself. Let's see what others will advise.

Good to know I am not the only one that is confused.

My mom actually has IDC -- not IBC.  The skin involvement alone did not make the diagnosis IBC, although we thought at first it might.  So she is similar to you.

Thanks TechtonicShift,  I went to the Therapy Calculator and selected Nodal Detail as you suggested and it worked!!

Karina -- try what TechtonicShift recommends above and see if it works for you.

Without HT (and no chemo which is what my mom chose to do), she has a 16.7% expected 15-year cancer rate.  With AIs, she has an 11.4% expected 15-year cancer rate.  After trying Anastrozole, then Letrozole, then Exemestane for a year, she decided to come off all AIs due to severe complications with side effects.  I know that's a risky choice, but it is her choice.
