I have Stage 4 BC and consider I my condition a Chronic Illness ... any nutritional help I can get to stay healthy is welcomed. I recommend this resource to any BC fighters that are having issue getting the right essential vitamins and trace minerals. I was never a "nutrition" person, before BC. I ate well, not great, but ok. And I still struggle daily trying to maintain a healthy weight. As with any new addition to your diet, always to check with your MO before starting any new dietary changes.

Why I submitted this resource - In Jan 2012 when my spinal cord radiation and my 1st chemo treatment combined and created a severe ulcerative esophagitis. (esophageal swelling with ulcers). I could not swallow and ended up in the hospital for a week over Xmas and New Years. I could not swallow any vitamins or supplements, yet alone real food, and a friend recommended Vemma. I started taking it during my Chemo and it helped me get all the vitamins and antioxidants I needed in 2oz shot. If you are interested in learning more, let me know, I can get you more info about it.

I would love to know more. My nutrition has always struggled, I have never been overweight until first round with breast ca and steroids. I am also looking at this as a chronic illness. I have kids to raise and no intention of timing out early. Thanks for sharing your info.

I have realized that managing my energy levels has become more of a priority during all of this BC and that if I can get more nutrients in my body with little effort, I am all for it. The Vemma is based in Mangosteen and it tastes really good. All I have to do it take a 2oz shot glass of it a day.

Did you have probelms staying hydrated during Chemo?
