Bump for the newbies as it soooo does get better!! Smile

Today I went out to lunch with my 5 1/2 year old daughter, then took her to get her ears pierced. It was such a wonderul day for the two of us. And I am so happy to have enjoyed it, NOT thinking about cancer.

    And I am still singing...

Usually at the top of my lungs!

I also no longer care if people stare while I am rockin' out!

And this is how I am starting to feel about cancer....

A big and hearty CONGRATS to you Momof2. I am just starting my treatment and stories like yours make me feel stronger each and every day.

Oh, I love these moments that are sooo relatable to all of us! Thanks for sharing this. My "getting back to normal" event was finding my camera and taking pictures a few months after diagnosis. It felt so good to shed the panic enough to snap photos on a nature walk with my family.

Today I celebrate the 3 year milestone. Doing well and have filled two more photo albums. Sending hugs to all of you as you do normal, everyday things that now feel so special.

You know, it's funny. First time I thought of this since you mentioned it, but I was in a store shopping for some work clothes for/with mu hubby when a song came on their sound system that I used to love to dance to (back in my disco days) and I found my self breaking out some of the old moves and singing along to myself. Having my own subtle little dance party. I remember thinking afterwards that I hadn't done that in months and to me it was a sign I had turned the corner and was on my way back!

That was about 9 years ago and now you can't keep me in my seat when Uptown Funk comes on the radio ( I can do some serious car seat dancing while driving too!!)

Bless you all! Just keep singing & dancing!
