I had my 1 yr check up yesterday. Today I found out there are two more spots. One on each breast. The nurse said they think it is fat necrosis. I am having a sonogram on Thursday to see what the spots are. There is one on each breast. The only thing that has me hopeful is I didn't have cancer on the right breast and I had a bmx. I am still on Herceptin so, I really hope everything is ok.

    I had the same thing happen to me--one spot on my right side which i could easily feel with my fingers.  My onc ordered an ultrasound and nothing showed up.  Then I went to my BS to have my port out, and she said "let's do a breast MRI and make sure".  I told her she was putting me in a panic.  She said after diagnosis, you have to check everything out.  Again, nothing showed. 

    She took it out at the same time as my port--it was scar tissue.  Try not to worry.  Good luck.

    One of the spots was fat necrosis. The other is in for a biopsy. :(
