My co-workers husband has not been feeling well for a couple weeks.  Back hurting pretty badly. Thought it was a slipped disk or something along those lines.  Had MRI Tuesday, report back yesterday.  Bone cancer.  PET scan yesterday, found out this morning it is in his skull, neck, shoulders, arm and pelvis.  I just can't believe how quick this turned from a back problem to such sad news.

I had that wrong.  He has multiple myeloma.  Sorry to post here.  I am just in shock.

Akc, I hope he gets good tx soon. My father was just recently dx with melanoma. I'll find out this week what his tx will be, but he's 87 so things will be different than your friend's husband.

Thank you, Leah.  He got his port the next day, a couple pints of blood and first chemo Saturday.  He is not doing very well today.
