I see the mods have locked another thread.  Too bad.  I thought the discussion was very informative.

The intolerance of polite disagreement diminishes the credibility of BCO.  Its unfortunate.

Hi Orange1!

I started the thread a looooong time ago about "Dr" (not) Judy Seeger and her quackery.  It was just recently updated by a new poster who apparently read about this particular topic on another blog where evidence and logic are much more prevalent than here in this forum.  For some reason, some posters here are so evidence-averse than they resort to silly games rather than engage in a grown-up discussion.  

I couldn't agree more that the intolerance of polite disagreement and discussion diminishes the credibility of BCO.   It bothers me a lot when posts are deleted, regardless of who posted and what their viewpoint is, unless they are clearly against BCO's rules.  I think the mods do a terrible disservice to legitimate breast cancer patients when they obliterate threads like that one rather than simply locking the thread and investigating further.  My posts that were deleted did not break rules.  Someone just doesn't like what I have to say.  It's exactly the reason I've found another forum where I'm much more at home with other logical and evidence-based and skeptical discussions, although I do admit that I do miss a lot of great friends I've made here.

I think it's unfortunate when the mods delete anythin only because we are adults here and some of the disagreements have actually ended up in friendships they work themselves out. But when stopped it seems to linger--u can tell in different posts, then it's uncomfortable. and some people go to different sites and I know I miss them, cuz not posting anymore.----but it's there site and they make the rules so I'm just happy to have it so no use in complaining.
