breast "rash"

I realize that this is not meant to be a diagnostic board but you ladies are so knowledgable and I would really appreciate any information about the rash and burning  that some women experience with IBC. I have had a rash since the second week of July and so far the GP and gynecologist I have seen are stumped. Will see a dermatologist on the 28th of August. Anti-fungal, antibiotics, steroid cream etc. have not cleared it up. I had intense breast/nipple pain when it first flared that is now just occasional stabbing pains. The rash seemed to calm down and become less inflamed midway ilast cycle but flared again before my period. Coincidence or??? Also, my burning has been in the breast, mostly in the rash area and under both arms--the arm on the rash side burns more than the other. Also, at times, burning across my back.

Did your rashes have some texture or rough feel to them or were they completely smooth to the touch? Did they blanch to normal skin color when pressure was applied or were they non-blanching like a bruise? Have not yet been to a breast specialist--will follow up there if necessary. Scheduled for mammogram and ultrasound on Monday though I realize these don't necessarily give an answer. Thank you so much for any input and good health to all.
