metaplastic breast cancer

I have been reading and trying to find out what my Dr. saw in the path report, I didn't have a breast cancer type or stage but was told that it was ER-(neg) and grade 3 .Also that my tumour is partial cystic, Dr. said that it was a bit unusual as she read that. Ok so now I have found something that kin of matches. metaplastic breast cancer!! Oh and I'm NOT liking what I'm reading. It is a very rare kind of cancer but on the site I read, it says that it can be comprised of cyst or other cells and is hormone neg . Maybe this is why the path report didn't state the size or stage or actual type.My first cancer 13+ years ago I knew it was <1cm IDC er/pr pos and clear lymph and this was before the surgery.Please can anybody give me some advice, it says the prognosis is not good because it can start as one type and change to another...Please I could use some help..Thank-you ....Brenda

anamerty- Although I don't have same the type of cancer as you, I thought I'd help you out here.  There are women on this boards with metaplastic cancer.  You may want to do a search for them by hitting the Search on the left hand side and then type in the key word area:  Metaplastic.  You can probably private message those gals or even go on to those threads where they are currently active.

You can also go to this thread which I don't believe there has been any recent activity but you could private message any of those gals who there.
