"Bright" on T2 mass and itching symptoms?

Hello!

I'm 41 and due to some intense itching in my L breast as well as some nipple tingling, I asked my Gyn (almost 2 months ago) for a screening mammo and a mass was found. Afterward. I was called back for a diagnostic mammo & it verified the "mass" but the u/s was neg. The rad sent me for a MRI and that not only showed the the first mass, it revealed a second one. The first mass was deemed "probably benign fibroadenoma". The second one was deemed "probably benign" possibly fibroadenoma and it weighted "bright" on T2. I wad then scheduled for a biopsy of the second mass. I'm going in this Wed.

My questions are these:

1) through my research, lesions that are bright on T2 are always benign EXCEPT colloid carcinoma (mucosal?) Right??

2) has anyone had intense itching (without skin changes) in one breast and have it turn out to be bc?

3) both masses are "round" so why am I being referred for a biopsy on one of them? ( by the way, I called my Gyn and asked him to biopsy Both masses to be safe)

I have tried all sorts of OTC topical ointments as well as a RX ointment but the itch is deep and not surface.

Has anyone experienced Anything like this?

Thank you for reading!

3 years ago I had intense itching of the nipple and areola and initially no visible physical change.  It was in fact diagnosed as Paget's disease and it was also in the duct.  You are right to pursue.  My cancer never showed on ultrasound or mammogram but was definitvely diagnosed via biopsy of the nipple and areola.
