Hi ladies,

I'm 3 months post op. and started back in the gym for a few weeks now. Before this breast cancer, I was weightlifting 5-6 times a week and doing cardio (spinning and running) 3 times a week. I was also on a diet of animal protein and complex carbs. Along with that I was also consuming whey protein powder twice a day. So my total protein for a day is around 200g which included food and whey powder.

Since my breast cancer diagnosis, I've changed my diet drastically to a plant based and mostly veg diet. (I'm trying really hard to go totally vegan but its really hard). So I've been juicing and doing wheatgrass shots and also eating a lot of cancer fighting veg., now I've started back in the gym fully and wanted to get back to where I was before my cancer, my question to you ladies is this:

I'm looking for a protein powder that is free of all these chemicals and preserves, my research pointed me to the Sun Warrior Brand of plant based protein powders. Are they good for us who had breast cancer? I'm a triple positive and still going through treatment of tamoxifen and herceptin. Anyone out there are weightlifting and taking this protein?
